End of Year Update....Everything Else

Have managed to do a little bit more stitching in the last few weeks.

I made the Thumper Xmas card, which I was very pleased with & also made a start on Susies (UK) 12 days of Christmas Calender RR.....Im doing 8 Maids a Milking. Still hoping I might get this finished by the end of the year but, Im not holding my breath!!!

Also started!! another piece for myself which is a Christmas tree shaped sampler.....reckon my new years resolution is to definatley NOT start anymore pieces til at least a couple of my WIPs are completed!!!

End of Year Update....Countries RR

Well, as you can see by the major lack of posts, Ive hardly been stitching for the last couple of months.

I have recieved 3 Countries RRs during December, Susans (Canada), Janiens (Belgium) & Terrys (USA).

I have managed to stitch my piece (centre right) on Susans Africa one this week in between the sprouts & mince pies & will try to get at least one of the others done before college starts again.

Pooh finished & christmas cheer RR home

Been feeling worse than ever the last couple of days so, hardly stitched at all :0( Finally got Pooh finished for Joyce (uk) & I reckon he's really cute though.

Also recieved my completed Christmas Cheer RR home from Myrna (uk). This RR finished last year but, as I had a space left, Myrna offered to finish it off for me. Just got to get it framed now ready for xmas :0)

Nearly forgot, have also recieved Lesleys Margaret Sherry RR which is 2 seperate pieces.

Winnie the Pooh 'April Showers'

Am stitching a very cute little Pooh bear piece on Joyces (Wales) Calender RR. Joyces was the piece that we could stitch whatever we wanted. Had trouble finding something to fit the square but, Pooh just fits in!!

Finished christmas card

Finished mums christmas card & Im really pleased with it, mum will love it. Not sure what to start on next, going to go & have a dig through my stash :0)

Christmas card update

Mums christmas card is coming along nicely, just a bit of backstitch at the top to finish & its all done. Im so glad I got the chance to finish this piece (Thanks Sue :0)

Finished another calender RR

Have done a fair bit of the cross stitch on my Tatty Ted piece but, was finding it hard to concentrate so, Ive just done Nicolas (Australia) calender RR piece instead.

Im now working on my Mums christmas card. I started this last year but, lost the pattern. Luckily, one of my friends had it too so, hopefully, I'll get it finished this time!!

Tatty Teddy RR

Ive found my own Tatty Teddy Caroling RR that we were working on earlier this year. It has one square left to complete so, Im going to get going on that one so, I can get it ready for christmas.

Scotland RR piece finished

Im not very well at the moment & have basically been put on bed rest for 2 weeks.....yes doc, haha, I guess you dont have kids!!

Anyway, my neighbour is helping me out big time with school runs & I now have the perfect opportunity to catch up on some major stitching.

Ive finished Joys (uk) Scotland RR piece today & am sitting here pondering which RR to start next. Think I might dig out some of my own RRs that have arrived home incomplete & see if I can get some of them finished.

My Tiger came home

Had a lovely suprise in the post yesterday when my Tiger finally came home after his very extended vacation. This was my animal RR that got caught up in customs & sent backwards & forwards between here & the USA a few times. I thought he was lost in the post forever!!!

I finished off a couple of square inches that had been left & as you can see, he looks fantastic. Many thanks to all the girls from CSRR that stitched on him for me.

Now, I just have to get all is body finished!!

October Update

Havent had the chance to do much stitching (again!) but, have managed to finish Janes Zodiac RR & have made a start on Joys (Scotland) Countrys RR.

Also recieved 2 new RRs. These are Joyces (UK) & Susies (UK) calender RRs. Im really looking forward to stitching on Susies (its Margaret Sherrys 12 days of christmas) as I have this in my 'to do' list too.

Joyces will be interesting aswell as, she hasnt supplied any charts!! A nice little challenge :0)

Started Janes Calender RR

Ive made a start on Janes (France) calender /zodiac RR, Im doing Leo.

Havent got as much done as I hoped but, should get it done this week with any luck!

Yippee, Country Companions RR home

Just recieved my Open theme 'Country companions' RR home & its lovely. A big thanks to all the ladies who stitched on it for me :0)

Have also finished my Sisters xmas piece so, she will be happy too.

Hope to make a start on one of the next calender pieces over the weekend if I get time.

Finished Sues Calender RR

Finally managed to get te back stitch finished on Sues (uk) calender RR so, thats all ready to be posted when I can find 5 mins!!

Have started working on my sisters xmas RR. This should have been finished but, someone made a mistake on it somewhere so, the top section doesnt quite fit properly. Sould be able to sort it out though......or at least I hope so.

3 New RRs have arrived

Ive recieved 2 more calender RRs recently, Janes (France) zodiac one & Nicolas (Australia) Fairys one. Ive also recieved Joys (uk) Countrys one of Scotland.

I treated myself to the Materials pack for the Lavender & lace Winter Angel. Got it on ebay for £4.99, got a real bargain there!! Just need to get te chart now.

What a crazy month!!

Havent posted for ages as Ive just started as a full time student at catering college. Its absolutey crazy busy but, I love it.

Havent had hardly any time for stitching but, have managed to do Susies (uk) Countries RR of Ireland & Ive started on Sues (uk) calender RR. Its the Margaret Sherry Astrocats zodiac which is really lovely.

Also did a bit of work on my own colours of christmas piece a while ago as I fancied a change from all these RRs. Its a gorgeous piece, really easy but, I think, stunning.

Looney Zodiac RR Ready & Family tree finished

Ive finished my part on the Looney Tunes Zodiac RR & done the setting out for everyone else, Sylvester & Tweety look great :0)

Ive also managed to Back stitch the names onto the family tree that I gave my mum for her Birthday at long last.....its only taken 6 months!!.

Myrnas Open RR Finished

Ive just finished Myrnas Open Landscape RR & it looking great. I was a bit worried about this one, thought it was going to take me ages to stitch but, it all came together nicely.

Im stitching on the Looney Zodiac RR again now & hopefully I can get that finished by Tuesday too so, I can send them both on to Sue.

My daughter (much to my suprise) decided that she wanted to help me with some stitching so she took the Angel kit 'is it too late to be good' back home with her. Ive challenged her to get it done by Decmber 1st as, thats when the decorations go up.

Also posted a piccie of Susies Countries rr (Ireland) that turned up the other day.

Yipeeee, my 1st calender RR is home

Postman bought me a nice suprise yesterday, my 1st calender RR (that was due home about half a year ago!) turned up, fully completed. Myrna had kindly kept hold of it & sorted out all the backstitch & stitched 3 bears for me....I was delighted.

For the last few days Ive been stitching on Myrnas (UK) open/landscape RR, my Looney Zodiac piece & I did a little bit more on my millenium sampler.

Also recieved Susies (uk) Countries RR which is a lovely map of Ireland. I'll post a piccie of that when I start it as Susie hasnt been able to start it herself yet.

Next Margaret Sherry RR Complete

Have managed to quickly complete this lovely little Margaret Sherry Cat for Nicola (Australia). Another very fast one, its taken less than a day to complete!!

Calender/Zodiac RR finally finished

At long last, this ones done too....Seems to have taken ages. I'll get it in the post tomorrow & work out what to stitch next, Ive got 6 RRs waiting at the moment!

Countries RR finished

Ive finished my part on my Indian Brave Countries RR, really enjoyed stitching this one. I had hoped to have finished Janes (UK) Calender/zodiac RR aswell by now but, didnt get the chance to stitch Friday & Saturday so, yet again, Im behind!!
