Another Teddy & Disney RR arrived

Nicolas (Australia) Disney & Teddy RR have arrived. The Disney RR is plain squares for the Cushions shes making for the hospital. Ive started a Mickey Mouse panel for her. The Teddy is very cute too. Im stopping work on my Margaret Sherry Pig for the moment as the rest of my pieces have been posted so, theres no hurry for it now.

Next Margaret Sherry RR Arrived

Susans (Canada) Margaret Sherry RR arrived today & its looking gorgeous. Im working on mine too at the moment, better get a move on though as its still looking like a large pink blob!! Its actually a pig.

Joys Teddy RR Part Finished

Ive finished Joys Teddy piece (I did the number 10 bear) & will be posting it to Canada tomorrow along with her dalmation Disney piece. I wouldnt normally stitch a piece like these bears. I think this is why I enjoy RRs so much, it gives you the chance to try out different style patterns. Im now starting on my Margaret Sherry RR as this is due soon. Im stitching her Country Friends Calender pieces.

Country Companions finally finished

Have finally finished the background for my Country Companions, open RR piece so, will be sending this on to Sue today. Have had to put Pooh bear down again now as the RRs are arriving fast. Ive recieved Ruths (USA) Fantasy piece which I have already started on at the bottom & Susans (Canada) Open RR. She has chosen 'whimsical animals' as her theme & we are all stitching on seperate aida squares which she will be making up into a quilt. The Cat & mouse piccie is the 1st square that Susan stitched herself. I will be getting on with Joys Teddy RR this week as its due to be posted soon.

Joys Disney RR part Finished

Have finished my part on Joys (UK) Disney RR & the Dalmations looking really cute. Started doing the rabbit on my country companions RR but, havent been feeling too well so, got out the Pooh Bear pillow Im stitching for the Royal Brisbane Childrens Hospital, Australia. Nice big bit of block colouring I dont have to concentrate to hard on!!! Nicola from our CSRR group is attempting to stitch 1 pillow for every child there by October, expected to be about 180 pillows!!

Ruths Xmas RR Finished

Ive finished Ruths (USA) xmas RR now. Ive stitched the white sheep on the 2nd & 3rd row.

Ive now made a start on Joys (UK) Disney RR & this should be finished by tomorrow night.

Its my Birthday :0)

Had a lovely surprise today when I recieved a cross stitched birthday card from my Mum. Its the first time anyone has ever cross stitched me something & ment especially more as Mum has problems with her eye sight when stitching.

Finished off Sues Calender bear over the weekend so, that will be sent home to her soon. Ive stitched the main banner, February & April bear on this piece.

Am planning to finish off my part on Ruths Christmas tree of sheep tomorrow.
